Description :

Bus conversions are not limited to the Americas. Numerous fine examples can be found in Australia. Australia, affectionately called Oz by its residents, is referenced in this bus’s destination bar that cleverly states, “GUNASEEOZ.” This bus conversion was fabricated over a period of thirty months from a 1968 Bedford school bus. The Bedford bus was first manufactured in the UK in 1931. Its 5.0-liter gasoline engine has been modified to run on clean-burning IPG (propane) fuel stored in two 180-liter tanks. Clearly outfitted for long journeys in the Outback, the motorhome is fitted with a full kitchen that features two refrigerators, a freezer, microwave, and range. A 400-liter water tank supplies ample water for the shower, continuous hot water system, and a washing machine. Other amenities include a full floating wood floor, two televisions, phone line, and backup camera. Of particular note is the front-mounted bull bar, also known as a roo bar, which fends off bounding marsupials. GUNASEEOZ is owned by David Croft. Photographed at Sale, Victoria, Australia.
